Market Intelligence
The 70+ widget grid system: derivatives, order flow, on-chain, sentiment, and more.
Overview
Market Intelligence is Thrive's operational command center: a customizable grid of 70+ real-time widgets that span derivatives, order flow, on-chain activity, social sentiment, macro indicators, and BTC cycle metrics. Every widget pulls live data from upstream providers (CoinGlass, Nansen, CoinMarketCap, Whale Alert, and proprietary aggregation pipelines) and renders it within a unified layout that you control.
The goal is to eliminate the multi-tab workflow that most crypto traders rely on. Instead of switching between CoinGlass for funding rates, Nansen for on-chain, and Twitter for sentiment, Market Intelligence surfaces all of those data streams in a single viewport. You decide which widgets are visible, how they are sized, and which category tab is your default landing view.

Widget Categories
Widgets are organized into seven top-level categories, each accessible as a tab at the top of the Market Intelligence page. Selecting a tab filters the grid to show only widgets in that category, though you can pin favorites from any category to appear in every view.
| Market Pulse & Macro | Fear & Greed index, trending coins, sector pulse, global market metrics, crypto market indices, and macro correlation overlays. |
| Derivatives | Funding rate heatmaps, liquidation heatmaps, open interest aggregation, long/short ratios, options flow, perp screener, funding arbitrage scanner, and cumulative funding charts. |
| Order Flow | Cumulative volume delta (CVD), depth heatmaps, order flow analysis panels, and market structure visualization with bid/ask imbalance detection. |
| On-Chain | Smart money leaderboard, whale tracker, exchange flows (inflow/outflow), token holder analysis, blockchain flow breakdown, DCA detection, Hyperliquid whale positions, and who-bought/who-sold panels. |
| Sentiment | KOL (key opinion leader) tracker, social volume metrics, social authenticity scoring, and CMC category sentiment aggregation. |
| BTC Cycle | MVRV Z-Score, Puell Multiple, HODL Waves, Thermocap Ratio, Realized Cap, and other on-chain valuation models specific to Bitcoin cycle positioning. |
| Infrastructure | Gas tracker (ETH, L2s), ETH network statistics, stablecoin supply monitor, and DEX volume overview. |
Market Pulse & Macro
The Market Pulse category is where most traders start their session. It provides a top-down view of the crypto market before you drill into specific assets or derivative structures.
Fear & Greed Index
A composite score from 0 (extreme fear) to 100 (extreme greed) that aggregates volatility, momentum, social volume, dominance, and survey data. The gauge visualization shows the current reading along with a 30-day trend sparkline. Historically, readings below 20 have preceded significant bounces, while sustained readings above 80 have preceded corrections. Use this as a contrarian sentiment filter, not a timing tool.
Trending Coins
A ranked list of tokens experiencing the sharpest increase in social mentions, search volume, and trading activity over the last 1, 4, and 24 hours. Each entry shows the token name, percentage change in social velocity, current price and 24h change, and a mini volume chart. The widget refreshes every 60 seconds. It is most useful for identifying emerging narratives before they become crowded.
Sector Pulse
A treemap visualization that groups tokens into sectors (L1s, L2s, DeFi, AI, Gaming, Memecoins, RWA, etc.) and colors each block by its 24-hour performance. The size of each block reflects market cap weight. Clicking a sector expands it to show constituent tokens. This is the fastest way to see which narratives are leading and which are lagging on any given day.
Global Metrics
Headline numbers for the total crypto market: total market cap, 24h volume, BTC dominance, ETH dominance, stablecoin market cap, DeFi TVL, and active addresses. Each metric includes a 7-day sparkline and percentage change. BTC dominance trending above 60% typically signals risk-off rotation, while declining dominance during market uptrends suggests altseason momentum.
Market Indices
Thrive computes several proprietary indices: a large-cap index (top 10 by market cap), a mid-cap index (11-50), a small-cap index (51-100), and sector-specific indices. These indices are useful for benchmarking portfolio performance and identifying relative strength across market segments. Each index chart supports 1h, 4h, 1D, and 1W timeframes.
Layout & Customization
The Market Intelligence grid is fully customizable. You can reposition widgets by dragging their title bar, resize them using the bottom-right handle, collapse them to header-only mode, or remove them entirely. Changes are auto-saved to your account and persist across devices and sessions.
Layout Presets
Save your current widget arrangement as a named preset. You can create multiple presets for different workflows: a "Morning Scan" layout with macro and sentiment widgets, a "Trade Execution" layout focused on derivatives and order flow, or a "Research" layout weighted toward on-chain and smart money data. Switch between presets instantly using the preset dropdown in the page header.
Arrange your widgets
Drag, resize, and configure widgets to your preferred layout. Remove any widgets you do not need by clicking the X in the widget header. Add new widgets using the "Add Widget" button in the toolbar.
Save the preset
Click the preset dropdown in the page header and select "Save as New Preset." Name it something descriptive. Your widget positions, sizes, and per-widget configuration (selected timeframes, filtered assets) are all captured.
Switch presets
Open the preset dropdown and click any saved preset to instantly apply it. The grid re-renders with the saved layout. You can also set a default preset that loads automatically when you open Market Intelligence.
Widget Configuration
Each widget has a gear icon in its header that opens a configuration modal. Common configuration options include timeframe selection (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D, 1W), asset filtering (show only watchlist assets, top N by volume, or a custom selection), color scheme preferences, and data refresh interval. Configuration is saved per-widget and per-preset, so your "Morning Scan" preset can show daily timeframes while your "Execution" preset shows 5-minute data.

Infrastructure Widgets
Infrastructure widgets monitor the plumbing of the crypto ecosystem: gas prices, network health, stablecoin supply dynamics, and decentralized exchange activity. These are less about trade timing and more about understanding the environment in which you are operating.
Gas Tracker
Real-time gas prices for Ethereum mainnet and major L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync). Shows slow, standard, and fast tiers in gwei. A 24-hour gas chart reveals intraday patterns; most users find that gas is cheapest during off-peak hours in the US (early morning UTC). Use this to time on-chain transactions when gas costs are material to your trade economics.
Stablecoin Supply
Tracks the total supply and 7/30-day change of USDT, USDC, DAI, BUSD, and other major stablecoins. Rising stablecoin supply, particularly USDT mints, historically correlates with incoming buy-side capital. A sustained decline in aggregate stablecoin supply can signal capital leaving the crypto ecosystem. The chart shows supply by issuer over time with a stacked area visualization.
DEX Overview
Aggregated decentralized exchange volume across Uniswap, SushiSwap, Curve, PancakeSwap, and other major DEXs. Shows 24h volume by protocol, DEX-to-CEX volume ratio, and the top traded pairs. A rising DEX-to-CEX ratio indicates increased on-chain activity relative to centralized exchanges, a signal of growing DeFi engagement or token distribution activity that has not yet been priced in on CEX order books.
Interpretation Framework
No single widget tells the full story. Market Intelligence is designed to be read as a dashboard, not as isolated data points. The most effective approach is a top-down scan: start with Macro to understand the regime, check Derivatives for positioning, validate with On-Chain flow data, and confirm with Sentiment.
Fear & Greed above 50, stablecoin supply expanding, funding rates moderate (not overheated), smart money accumulating, social sentiment net positive.
Fear & Greed below 30, stablecoin supply contracting, funding rates deeply negative, exchange inflows spiking, KOL sentiment turning bearish.
Price making new highs while funding rates decline, open interest drops, or smart money begins distributing. These divergences often precede corrections.
Extreme fear reading, heavy liquidation cascades, funding deeply negative, whale accumulation on-chain, social sentiment at despair levels.
