Watchlist
Track your favorite assets with price alerts, smart money alerts, and divergence monitoring.
Overview
The Watchlist is your curated monitoring hub. It aggregates the assets you care about most into a single, information-dense view that surfaces price data, derivatives context, divergence status, whale activity, and alert status at a glance. Instead of navigating between individual asset pages, the Watchlist gives you a dashboard-level view of your active trading universe.
Every user gets a single default watchlist that can hold up to 50 assets. Items can be added from anywhere in the platform: the asset screener, individual asset pages, the command bar, or signal and divergence detail views. The order of items is customizable via drag and drop, and your configuration is persisted across sessions and devices.
Watchlist Columns
The watchlist displays a dense table with configurable columns. The default configuration shows the most actionable data points. Columns can be toggled, reordered, and resized to match your preferences.
| Asset | Token name, ticker symbol, and logo. Click to navigate to the asset detail page. |
| Price | Current price with real-time updates via WebSocket. Color flashes green on uptick, red on downtick. |
| 24H Change | Percentage change over the last 24 hours, color-coded for direction. |
| 7D Change | Weekly performance for swing-level context. |
| Funding Rate | Current aggregated perpetual funding rate. Color intensity scales with magnitude. |
| OI Change 24H | Open interest change over 24 hours, showing whether leverage is increasing or decreasing. |
| Composite Z-Score | The aggregate statistical extremity score. Highlighted when above +2.0 or below -2.0. |
| Signal | Active AI signal direction and confidence, if any. Displays "---" when no active signal. |
| Divergence | Active divergence type and severity, if any. Highlighted at severe and critical levels. |
| Alerts | Number of active alerts configured for this asset. Click to view or manage them. |

Adding and Removing Assets
There are multiple ways to manage your watchlist. Use whichever method fits your current workflow.
Click the star icon in any row of the screener table to add or remove the asset from your watchlist.
Click the "Add to Watchlist" button in the header of any asset page.
Press Cmd+K and type "add BTC to watchlist" or "remove ETH from watchlist" as a quick action.
Click the "Add Asset" button at the top of the watchlist and search for a ticker.
When viewing a signal or divergence detail, click the star icon to add the asset.
There is no cost to add or remove assets from your watchlist. Watchlist management does not consume credits.
Price Alerts from the Watchlist
Each row in the watchlist has a quick-alert button that lets you create a simple price alert without leaving the page. Click the bell icon on any row, set a price threshold and direction (above or below), and the alert is created instantly. For more complex multi-condition alerts, click through to the full alert builder.
Click the bell icon on a watchlist row
The quick-alert popover appears with the current price pre-populated. You can set an above or below threshold.
Set your target price
Enter the price level at which you want to be notified. The popover shows the percentage distance from the current price for context.
Choose notification method
Select in-app push, email, or both. The alert is created with your default notification preferences, which you can change in Settings.
Confirm and activate
Click Set Alert. The bell icon on the watchlist row changes to indicate an active alert. The alert count column increments by one.
Smart Money Alert Overlays
For Pro+ and Founder users, the watchlist integrates smart money overlays that surface real-time whale and smart money activity for your watched assets. When a large transaction or smart money trade is detected on a watchlist asset, a visual indicator appears on the row with a timestamp and transaction summary.
Overlay Indicators
A transaction above $500K was detected. The indicator shows the transaction direction (buy/sell), amount, and source/destination.
An address labeled as smart money by Nansen executed a purchase. Shows wallet label, amount, and the exchange or protocol used.
A smart money address sold the asset. Tracks the same details as buy indicators.
A large inflow to centralized exchanges was detected, potentially indicating intent to sell.
A large outflow from exchanges was detected, suggesting accumulation into self-custody.

Divergence Tracking
The divergence column in the watchlist provides an at-a-glance view of any active divergences on your watched assets. When a divergence is detected, the column displays the divergence type (e.g., "Price-Funding Bearish") and severity level, color-coded from yellow (mild) through orange (moderate) to red (severe and critical).
Clicking the divergence indicator opens a compact detail panel showing the divergence chart, duration, magnitude, and a direct link to the full Divergences page for deeper analysis. You can also create a divergence-based alert directly from this panel.
Performance Monitoring
The watchlist is not just a monitoring tool; it also functions as a lightweight performance tracker. The multi-timeframe return columns (1H, 24H, 7D, 30D) let you see at a glance which of your watched assets are outperforming and which are lagging. Sort by any return column to quickly rank your universe by recent performance.
Watchlist as a Portfolio Proxy
Many traders use the watchlist as a proxy portfolio. By adding the assets they hold positions in, the watchlist becomes a real-time portfolio dashboard showing directional performance, derivatives health (funding and OI context), and risk indicators (divergences and z-score extremes). For full portfolio tracking with P&L, use the Trade Journal and Performance Analytics pages.
Sorting and Filtering
Click any column header to sort the watchlist by that metric. The sort order toggles between ascending and descending. Common sorting workflows include sorting by 24H change to find the day's biggest movers, sorting by composite z-score to find statistical extremes, and sorting by funding rate to find the most crowded trades in your universe.

Recommended Workflow
The watchlist is most effective when it is tightly curated and actively maintained. Here is a recommended approach to getting the most value from it.
Curate your universe
Add the 10-20 assets you actively trade or monitor. Avoid adding too many assets; a focused watchlist is more actionable than a bloated one. If you trade only large-cap assets, your watchlist might have 8-12 items. If you trade altcoins, you might have 15-25.
Set quick alerts on key levels
For each asset, set at least one price alert on a level you consider important. Use the quick-alert popover for speed. This ensures you are notified when your watched assets reach levels that require attention.
Check daily for divergences and extremes
Sort the watchlist by composite z-score and scan for assets above +2.0 or below -2.0. Check the divergence column for new entries. These are the highest-value signals the watchlist surfaces.
Prune inactive assets monthly
Remove assets you have not traded or analyzed in 30 days. A clean watchlist keeps your attention focused on actionable opportunities rather than stale entries.
